If you want a head start

Telling Dr. Ash your story before the call means the conversation starts somewhere real. The intake takes a few minutes and he reads every word first - and you can share any records you already have right there. Entirely optional; the call stands on its own.

Common Questions

The money questions belong here too - they are never awkward to ask, on this page or on the call.

What happens on this call?+

An unhurried conversation, not a screening. You talk through what’s going on and what you want from your health, and Dr. Ash tells you plainly whether the practice fits it. It’s free, about 20 minutes, and you leave with a clear next step either way - even when that next step is somewhere else.

What does membership cost?+

$500 a month, $1,375 a quarter (that works out to $458 a month), or $5,000 a year ($416 a month - the best value). There are no copays, no per-visit fees, and no initiation fees, and membership is generally HSA / FSA eligible, though your plan rules govern.

The current details always live at fishtownmedicine.com/about/pricing/membership.

What if membership is more than fits my budget right now?+

Choosing quarterly or annual billing lowers the effective cost. Membership is also generally HSA and FSA eligible, which can reduce the effective cost using pre-tax dollars. The free intro call with Dr. Ash is an unhurried chance to talk through your situation and make sure the practice is the right fit.

Does my insurance still work?+

Yes. The practice is direct, and your insurance still matters: labs, imaging, prescriptions, and specialist visits keep running through it the same way they do now. What membership replaces is the rushed visit - you get Dr. Ash’s time directly, with no timer.

If we are a fit, when could I start?+

The same day. Payment makes membership active immediately - your patient hub login works, onboarding starts on its own, and the first deep-dive visit goes on the calendar.
